Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a professional safari guide from Tanzania Destination will warmly welcome your family and assist with luggage before transferring to Arusha. Pass through beautiful surroundings, green landscapes, and peaceful atmosphere. Upon arrival at Masailand Safari Lodge, relax, recover from international flight, and prepare for exciting safari adventure.
After breakfast, safari adventure officially begins as you drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife parks famous for giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. During game drive, your family will experience close wildlife encounters - elephants near safari vehicle, lions relaxing under trees, giraffes feeding peacefully, zebras crossing road, and colorful bird species. Enjoy picnic lunch inside park surrounded by nature and wildlife views. After afternoon game drive, continue to Karatu for relaxation and dinner.
After early breakfast, descend into breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's natural wonders and one of best places to see Big Five in single day safari. Inside crater, experience incredible wildlife sightings including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and if lucky, rare black rhino. During lunchtime, enjoy picnic lunch near hippo pool while surrounded by natural beauty of crater floor. After lunch, continue journey toward endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Game viewing continues on way to camp where wildlife can often be seen directly from safari vehicle.

After breakfast in Serengeti, enjoy final short game drive while heading to airstrip for afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, driver transfers your family to Nungwi Beach for relaxation and beach leisure. After breakfast, enjoy exciting snorkeling and dolphin adventure near Mnemba Island, one of most beautiful marine areas in Zanzibar. Experience starts with boat ride across turquoise Indian Ocean, enjoying fresh sea breeze and stunning ocean views. Once reach snorkeling sites, swim in clear blue waters and explore vibrant coral reefs filled with colorful tropical fish and rich marine life. If lucky, see dolphins swimming freely in open ocean, sometimes coming close to boat or playing in waves. After adventure, relax on boat or return to shore for peaceful beach time enjoying warm sun, soft sand, and calm island atmosphere.
Explore cultural side of Zanzibar by visiting historic Stone Town together with local spice farm experience. During Stone Town tour, discover Zanzibar's rich history, local markets, old Arab houses, narrow streets, and cultural sites showing real daily life and heritage of island. Later, during spice tour, have hands-on experience where you can smell, touch, and try famous Zanzibar spices such as cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, and turmeric. Also see tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, jackfruit, and coconut while learning how they are grown and used in local cooking and traditional Swahili life.
After breakfast and depending on flight schedule, transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for international departure flight back home. Serengeti: late June to October for dry-season game viewing and river crossings in the north; December to March for calving on the southern plains. Tarangire: best in the dry season (June to October), when elephants gather along the river. Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara: good all year. Zanzibar: June to October and December to February; April and May are the wettest months.
