Payment Options
- Cash: United States Dollars ($USD), Euros (€), and British Pounds (£) only.
- Overseas bank transfers: Full invoice amount must be paid. Any bank or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
- Credit/Debit Cards: All major cards are accepted (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Union Pay, JCB). A 3.5% surcharge applies to cover administration fees.
Booking & Payment Policy
- All group bookings must be fully paid before departure.
- Verbal quotes are estimates only; confirmed prices will be provided in writing.
- No refunds or credits are available for unused services included in your package.
- Any changes made to travel arrangements while abroad are the client’s responsibility. Tanzania Destination will not cover additional costs or complications arising from such changes.
- In case of flight delays, meals and accommodation should be provided by your airline. If extra transfers are required to join your group, these costs must be covered by the client and later claimed through travel insurance if applicable.
- Prices are based on current exchange rates and local costs. Prices may change before confirmation. If the variation exceeds 10% of the holiday cost, clients may request a full refund.
- It may be necessary to adjust arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Compensation does not apply for changes caused by war, strikes, terrorism, natural disasters, airport closures, adverse weather, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, Tanzania Destination will offer an alternative holiday if available, or refund payments made.
- Bookings for persons under 18 years are accepted only when accompanied by an adult.
- Cancellations within 24 hours, “no shows,” or last-minute changes will be charged in full.
Agents Without Credit
- Invoices must be requested at the time of booking.
- Final client numbers must be confirmed 30 days before arrival.
- Invoices will be issued based on final numbers, and payment must be received before arrival.
Agents With Credit
- A 30% deposit is required at booking. The balance must be paid no later than four weeks before the tour start date.
- Bookings made within four weeks must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- If payment is not received by the due date, the booking will be treated as cancelled, and cancellation charges will apply.
- Late bookings are accepted at the Director’s discretion. Tanzania Destination is not responsible for lost accommodation or activities due to delayed payments.
- Group tour companies must settle accounts within their contracted credit terms.
Free of Charge (FOC) Policy
- Group leaders or guides receive complimentary admission when accompanying the group.
- Additional FOCs must be approved in advance by the sales department.
- Standard policy: 1 free place for every 20 full-paying participants.
Children Policy
- Children aged 3 years and under: Free of charge.
- Children aged 4–12 years: Pay 50% of the adult rate.
- Children aged 13 years and above: Charged at adult rate.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email accepted).
- Deposits are non-refundable.
